Leading Regulatory Strategy and Governance for financial institutions with expertise in strategic planning.
With over 15 years of experience in financial services, I am a director at First Citizens Bank, where I oversee and monitor the regulatory remediation and reporting program. I have a JD degree from Pennsylvania State University and a CFE certification from the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners. I am passionate about ensuring compliance, mitigating IT risk, and protecting privacy in the banking industry. In my current role, I have introduced an improved program to streamline the regulatory issue lifecycle, enhanced the recording, monitoring, and reporting of regulatory intelligence, and drove the development of regulatory issue module in Archer GRC tool. I have also supported the onboarding of ServiceNOW for the organization and facilitated the response process to regulatory authorities. I have been recognized with the Risk Teamwork Award for my contributions. Previously, I was a senior lead regulatory relations specialist at Wells Fargo, where I built a more proactive enterprise management system to address regulatory risks and served as a trusted advisor to executive leaders. I have also taught data analytics as an adjunct professor at Temple University and published articles on legal and cyber security topics. I am always eager to learn new skills and technologies and to collaborate with diverse stakeholders to achieve regulatory excellence and customer satisfaction.
